Education that offers services to children and adolescents ages 5 to 21 with learning

difficulties and challenging behaviors secondary to a broad range of developmental

disabilities. Melmark provides evidence-based, educational, vocational, clinical,

residential, healthcare and rehabilitative services, personally designed for each

individual in an environment of warmth, care and respect.

Melmark’s innovative program is defined by its comprehensive and collaborative

clinical service delivery model. The school program is offered across a 12-month

cycle for both day students and residential students. The approach of all clinical

programming within this organization integrates the technical and empirically-

supported features of applied behavior analysis to address the unique characteristics

of the individual. Clinical team members consist of Board Certified Behavior Analysts,

Clinical Social Workers, School Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical

Therapists, Special Education Teachers, Speech and Language Pathologists, Vocational

Coordinators, and Registered Nurses.

Melmark’s picturesque campus consists of seventy-seven acres in Delaware County and

offers recreational program areas, including indoor and outdoor swimming pools,

stables with a riding area, gymnasium, tennis courts, fitness trails and playgrounds.

Many students who attend the Melmark School reside in beautifully maintained single-
